From 27 November to 2 December 2021, the Angolan capital will host the second edition of the Luanda Biennale – the Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace. Organised in partnership between UNESCO, the Angolan government and the African Union, the Biennale aims to promote the prevention of violence and the resolution of conflicts, by encouraging cultural exchanges in Africa, dialogue between generations and the promotion of gender equality.
