Culture ministry proposes strategy to boost events sector

Finland's culture ministry is planning to propose a major strategy for the events sector in an effort to boost the industry and bring more jobs to the country.

Finland could accommodate more events than it currently does, Minister of Science and Culture Petri Honkonen told Yle on Tuesday, adding that the country needs to 'set more ambitious targets' to expand the events and wider culture sector.
