The Council for Culture has provided advice to the State Secretary of Culture and Media on transgressive behaviour in the culture and media sector.
According to the advice, transgressive behaviour is not only about sexual harassment and abuse. It can also involve bullying, racism, sexism, discrimination and other forms of undesirable behaviour, which create an unsafe working environment. It also occurs in other sectors, but in the culture and media sector there are specific risk factors that cause extra vulnerability, according to the Council.
