The Minister of Cultural Affairs, Dr. Hayat Katat Al-Garmazi, announced on Wednesday, November 02, 2022, the launch of the cultural programming for the year of celebrating the centenary of cinema in the Republic of Tunisia, in the presence of a group of Tunisian filmmakers, a number of guests of the activities of the 33rd edition of Carthage Film Days, lovers of the seventh art and its actors, and a group of intellectuals and media professionals. Dr. Hayat Katat Al-Garmazi pointed out the keenness of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs to further radiate cinema in Tunisia, develop its mechanisms and support its makers and professionals by developing a work strategy aimed primarily at overcoming difficulties and obstacles in order to achieve more brilliance and creativity and create a fully fledged film industry to make this art, as well as its great creative and aesthetic value, an engine of development and the advancement of the national economy.
