Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, the 2022 edition of the Abu Dhabi Culture Summit brought together more than 180 cultural leaders from around the world, including global policymakers and leaders in art, heritage, museums, and technology, to examine the ways in which culture can transform societies and communities. Held under the theme of 'A Living Culture', the Summit addressed the role of culture in making resilient and shared societies, and explored relating themes of empowering new voices, social responsibility, and diversity. IFACCA was represented at the Summit by Executive Director Magdalena Moreno Mujica, at the invitation of the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, the organiser of the Summit and an Affiliate Member of IFACCA.
