Artists as Workers: What the results say about the creative workforce's future

16 May 2024, Australia

Following 7 April's launch of Creative Australia and Macquarie University's research report: Artists as Workers: An Economic Study of Professional Artists in Australia, join us for a discussion about the future for the creative workforce.

'Artists as Workers', by David Throsby and Katya Petetskaya, is the latest in a landmark study carried out over the past four decades by Professor Throsby and colleagues from Macquarie University.

The series tracks the working conditions of artists, providing information about their artistic practice, income, career development and pathways and their broader working lives.

In a follow-up to the launch webinar on the key findings, join Creative Australia’s Georgie McClean to discuss what the results say about the future for the creative workforce with David and Katya, along with other industry experts.
