On June 20, the Canada Council launched a Canada-wide Arts Community Pulse Survey to help build a robust portrait of the current state of the sector across Canada.
In her latest letter to the community, Council Director and CEO Michelle Chawla mentioned that, more than ever, it is time to deepen our collective understanding of the many challenges experienced throughout the country, to help shape an accurate and up-to-date picture of the current state of the sector nationally and to draw an evidence-based portrait that can be used by all of us to ensure sustainable support for the arts in Canada.
