The Australian Music Economic Impact Study is the first ever calculation of the economic impact of the Australian music industry at a national and industry-wide level.
The analysis will provide a picture of the breadth and complexity of the music industry’s activities and economic contributions. The results will be a vital tool for industry, government and the community, and will support decision making, advocacy and understanding of music in Australia.
Creative Australia are currently inviting all musicians, music businesses and music workers to contribute to this project by completing the Australian music economic impact survey.
The research project is being delivered by McAtamney & Advisors in collaboration with Music Australia.
