The task of austerity in the state budget and the related debate on the current principles of financing culture also concerns subsidies for internationalisation. The support measures affected by the changes are "Estonian Culture in the World" and the call for self-participation in the European Union's "Creative Europe" projects. With their support, they have contributed to the representation of Estonia at, for example, international sectoral contact fairs, organized concert tours of Estonian musicians, supported participation in prestigious festivals, carried out cross-sectoral international cooperation projects and Estonian Cultural Days in different places around the world.
