Cultural activity is often public: we participate in cultural events together with others, friends and strangers. For many people, it is a way of spending time with loved ones. The NCK regularly conducts research on the cultural activity of Poles. In a survey conducted in 2024, we decided to take a closer look at the relationship between cultural activity and sociability. Cultural activity is indeed linked to the regularity of social contacts: respondents who participate in cultural activities have regular contacts with a larger number of friends and acquaintances.
