The 20th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was held from 8 to 13 December 2025 at the Red Fort in New Delhi, India. Marking the 20th anniversary of India’s accession to the 2003 Convention, this was the first time the country hosted the Committee’s session. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Mr Vishal V. Sharma, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of India to UNESCO.
