Last December, the UNESCO Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in the Event of Armed Conflict decided at its meeting in Paris to add the Estonian National Museum and the main building of the Estonian National Archives Noora to the list of enhanced protection on the basis of an application submitted by the Estonian state.
