Marta Cienkowska, Minister of Culture and National Heritage, presented the main assumptions of the draft law on social security for professional artists in the Sejm today. The project is the first in history of a real proposal for a systemic regulation of the situation of artists, whose work specificity and the associated unstable and irregular income deprive them of the opportunity to regularly pay social and health insurance contributions.
