In March 2019 IFACCA and the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN), Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia brought together more than 430 delegates from over 80 countries to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the 8th World Summit on Arts and Culture. The Opening Ceremony of the Summit took place at the Perdana Botanical Garden, Kuala Lumpur on 11 March 2019. Over the three days that followed, speakers and delegates explored the theme Mobile Minds: Culture, Knowledge and Change at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac).
