The Arts Research Institute of Ilia State University (Georgia) in cooperation with Stichting Caucasus Foundation (Netherlands) invites MA and PH D students from the fields of Arts Science/Practice, Cultural Policy/Management/Tourism to send in their thesis until 10 April 2011 for this conference which takes place in Tbilisi (Georgia).

The second International Scientific Conference aims at linking young academics and practitioners, arts scientists and researchers with each other. Apart from that, it wants to stimulate the cooperation and exchanges between high arts education institutions from different countries as well as different art forms. New skills and best practices shall be promoted through practice and research, publications, public discussions and presentations.

The conference includes fields such as theatre, film, music, art, media, dance and folk studies.

Participating students must send in their thesis of 150 to 200 words in English until 10 April 2011 at the latest.

The deadline for the full presentation is 3 May 2011.

The conference will cover all expenses related with the conference, lunch and brakes during the conference, translation, further publication of the presentations in an international review, an cultural evening programme, local transportation as well as transfers from the airport.
