This is the fifteenth annual meeting of Ministers of Culture and Officials in-Charge of Cultural Policies in Latin America and the Caribbean
This annual forum aims at strengthening the protection and promotion of cultural diversity in all its forms, taking into account the Convention on the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage (2001), the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003) and the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2005).
