Museums and the Web is the largest international conference devoted to art, science, and natural and cultural heritage content online. Since 1997 it has been designed by and for museum professionals to feature the best digital work from around the world and highlight the use of new technologies in the museum context.

Key Dates
Museums and the Web Asia 2013 will be held December 9-12 in Hong Kong, China at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel and Towers. MWA2013 will included presentations by leading museum technologists from Asia Pacific, North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

 

Who should attend to MWAsia?
All kinds of people from around the world are invited to Museums and the Web Asia: webmasters, educators, curators, librarians, designers, managers, directors, scholars, consultants, programmers, analysts, publishers and developers from museums, galleries, libraries, science centers, and archives – as well as the companies, foundations and governments that support them.

The MWAsia Program
MWAsia offers a range of professional learning opportunities, from plenary sessions to  lightning talks, from formal papers to informal networking, from museum project demonstrations to commercial exhibits.

Prior to the conference, there are full-day and half-day workshops and a day of pre-conference tours.

Social events include receptions each evening, and lots of refreshment breaks provide plenty of time to meet and talk with colleagues.
