The UCF 2021 grant season has recently started. It will include 12 programs that will support cultural and artistic projects.
On September 30, UCF announced the second additional competition for the program " Culture in Times of Crisis: Institutional Support." The program is designed to promote the sustainable development of cultural and creative industries during the pandemic and to increase the competitiveness of small and medium businesses in the cultural sector.
As part of UCF's membership in the IFACCA network, the first online exchange of UCF with representatives of the Danish Arts Foundation took place. Representatives of international, expert and analytical departments exchanged experiences with colleagues from Denmark on creating a strategy and methodology for competitive selection, discussed the nuances of the two institutions, and shared successful cases of projects supported by UCF and the Danish Arts Foundation.
Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko said this during a briefing at Ukrinform on August 20. He explained the Ministry's action plan on measures to support culture and tourism in accordance with the Presidential Decree "On measures to support the cultural sector, protection of cultural heritage, development of creative industries and tourism."
The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine decided to extend the deadline for applications for the program "Culture in times of crisis: institutional support."
