Manager, Indigenous Arts Development, Arts NT Temporary vacancy to 30 June 2009 The Manager, Indigenous Arts Development will lead a small but highly motivated team to implement the Northern Territory’s Indigenous Arts Strategy – Building Strong Arts Business. The person will have strong management, leadership and communication skills, and work collaboratively as a senior manager with other Arts Development programs within Arts NT to provide for effective outcomes across the Northern Territory. The Manager will develop policies and implementation plans to deliver outcomes in line with Building Strong Arts Business, identify and monitor local, national and international Indigenous arts issues and trends and undertake research and provide high level reports and advice on a range of issues relevant to the Territory’s Indigenous arts sector. The person will develop and maintain a broad range of effective partnerships with artists and organisations, communities, Commonwealth, State and Territory government agencies and other key clients and stakeholders.
