The Arts Council of Wales has published its response to the Stephens Review into the future of funding for the arts in Wales.
The Council expressed its thanks for the work of Professor Elan Closs Stephens and her colleagues on the Commission, and welcomed their proposal that a Strategy Board, under the Chairmanship of the Minister, develop a single high-level strategy for the arts in Wales.
The Council also supports the four-year planning cycle suggested in the Report, and fully endorses the support of the Commission for its own developmental role.
