The National Council for Culture, at its forty-seventh session, held on 13 May 2016, considered the status of independent artists and problems related to their right to acquire pensions and health care. The session, at the invitation of the President of the National Council Mileta Prodanovic, attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Culture and Information, Tax Administration, Health Insurance Fund, Pension Fund, the Association of art associations and art associations of the Coordination Committee.
