On February 8, 2019, at the 11th session of the Croatian Parliament, the Law on Libraries and Library Activities was adopted.
The Law on Libraries and Library Activities regulates library activity, the establishment and termination of libraries, the organization and management of libraries, types of libraries, the work of the National and University Library in Zagreb and the library system of the Republic of Croatia and other matters of importance for carrying out library activities.
