The Mayor of the commune Kozah 1, Mr. PIDABI Pawoubadi was, on behalf of the Prefect of Kozah, honored by the choice made on the city of Kara to host this event. For his part, the Director of Cabinet suggested that the theme "support for the creation and production of the film and audiovisual industry in Togo", chosen this year, fits perfectly with the vision of His Excellency, Mr. Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBE, President of the Republic to make culture, a lever for wealth creation, in line with the 2020-2025 Government Action Roadmap.

The cinematographic café, hosted by SOHOU-NGANI Nicolas Etienne, Expert in cultural development, focused on the film and audiovisual industry, a sector organized into a sector of economic activity and the cinema sector, a sector that creates jobs and economic wealth. The Communicator also invested himself in presenting the quintessence of the Code of Cinema and the Moving Image and presented some avenues to be explored by the Prefecture of Kozah in order to fully benefit from its socio-economic potential related to cinema.

After the launch ceremony, Mr. KPAYE Bakayota made the trip to the Hotel Kara for the start of the training workshop for filmmakers from the Savannah, Kara and Central regions. The module that will take place there, from 26 to 30 August 2022, focuses on "the importance of scriptwriting in the making of a film".
