The Melanesian Arts and Culture Festival has been running since 1998, and this year's event will mark the 7th edition of the festival. Hosted by the government of Vanuatu, in collaboration with the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) Secretariat, the festival aims to promote regional cooperation and understanding by bringing together people from across Melanesian Spearhead Group member states and allied nations and territories.
