On Monday, March 17, 2025, the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Mrs. Amina Al-Sarafi, in the presence of the heads of programs within the Ministry, supervised a working session dedicated to discussing a set of proposals submitted to develop a solid national strategic vision to regulate the cultural work sector by 2035. And to identify major trends in all artistic fields to further promote creative content.
The session began with an assessment of the current reality of cultural work and the identification of the weaknesses and strengths of the various central administrations and public institutions related to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, and discussed the current legal, structural and circumstantial problems, in search of radical solutions to overcome them.
The session also touched on the mechanisms of the most effective management of heritage, its valorization, preservation and promotion, and the creation of infrastructure and cultural contents more developed and attractive to support an integrated and solidarity culture, as well as ways to establish a cultural development model based on excellence, innovation and the creation of high added value through the development of a legal framework that establishes a developed and structured cultural sector.
