Held under the theme “Custodians of Ecology: Shared Worlds, Shared Futures,” the event brought together Indigenous leaders from Namibia and as far afield as Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Malaysia, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa. The gathering provided a platform to exchange traditional knowledge and ecological wisdom, showcase heritage practices, explore futures shaped by Indigenous innovation, and collaboratively address urgent global challenges.
