During the meetings, the representatives of the countries discussed the challenges and opportunities associated with digital transformation, stressing that cultural diversity is a key pillar in the formulation of future digital policies. They stressed the need for these policies to take into account multiculturalism and preserve local identities, in order to ensure balanced and fair access to cultural content, and to support freedom of expression and the sustainability of cultural and creative industries.
