Polish culture is constantly changing. Forms of participation, the needs of creators and the expectations of local communities are changing. From the very beginning, however, it has been accompanied by an institution that, although it has functioned under different names, has always had the same mission: to support those who create culture at its roots. In May 2026, we celebrate the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Pact for Culture, which became a powerful impulse for the National Centre for Culture to further develop and allowed it to shape a modern approach to education and cultural animation, known today as Common Culture.
