El ministro de Cultura y Deporte, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, ha presentado hoy el Plan Nacional de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia correspondientes a las industrias culturales y deportivas y que supondrá una inversión de 825 millones de euros que se repartirán en la ‘revalorización de la industria cultural’ (325 millones de euros), ‘Spain Audiovisual Hub’ (200 millones de euros), y el ‘fomento del sector del Deporte’ (300 millones de euros).
Designed to secure jobs and reassert Victoria’s position as the creative state, a $167.3 million Creative State funding package will support the sector as it bounces back after a challenging year – putting creativity at the heart of Victoria’s recovery and supercharging the sector.
It finally happened: The next federal budget will include a refundable tax offset for videogame development. This is Australia’s only federal incentive for game development since the axing of Screen Australia’s Interactive Games Fund in 2014, and the country’s first federal tax incentive for game development ever. The policy has been announced as part of the Digital Economy Package, overseen by Superannuation, Financial Service and the Digital Economy Minister Hon Jane Hume MP.
As film, television and digital games projects spring back from the global COVID hiatus, the Victorian Budget 2021/22 will provide a record $120.7 million for an ambitious strategy to supercharge Victoria’s $2.2 billion screen industry; growing jobs, strengthening screen businesses and bringing local content to screens worldwide.
The Arts Council of Greece, in the context of supporting cultural and artistic work, completed the dialogue and the preparatory procedures with Domina Monriel by signing a memorandum of cooperation (05/04/2021) for the production of "Art Unites Us All".
In the framework of the Recovery Plan, the Ministry of Culture is launching the call for projects "support for creative cultural districts". Open for a period of 2 years, this scheme is part of the support to cultural third places.
