The World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES) and the Comparative Education Section of the Association of Cuban Educators invite scholars, researchers, educators, planners, administrators and other specialists to The 12th World Congress of Comparative Education Societies

The WCCES is a non-governmental organisation, which brings together national and regional societies committed to this field. It fosters scientific exchange and debate on the global development of education, principally through its World Congresses, which have been held every three years since 1970.
The main objectives of the 12th World Congress are:
- To provide an opportunity for debate and reflection on the challenges being faced by education everywhere in the world and, through this, to promote greater social justice.
- To learn about research in comparative education and to contribute to the enhancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field.
- To encourage cooperation among comparative education specialists and institutions to further develop their scholarly enquiry and professional practice.
- To contribute to the fulfillment of Unesco's objective for lifelong learning for all.
