Banlieues d'Europe invites you to attend a public debate, followed by a convivial moment, on the Place of Culture in the Europe of Tomorrow , with Frédéric Jambu, Director of the Association for European and International Development, and General Delegate to the EUROMEDINCULTURE(s) network, Jean Hurstel, President-Founder of Banlieues d'Europe and Louise Ferry, Parliamentary Assistant of Malika Benarab-Attou, Member of the European Parliament (Culture Commission) at 5 pm on Monday 28 June 2010 at the Maison Pour Tous - Salle des Rancy, Lyon..
In the framework of this Monday Rendezvous, Banlieues d'Europe and the ADCEI will join together in examining the Place of Culture in Europe during a debate open to the public.
This exchange ties in with the EUROMEDINCULTURE(s) Citizenship project, a vast consultation of citizens carried out on European territory, which aims to put culture back into the heart of European construction. This project, supported by the European Commission, gives everyone the possibility of expressing their opinions through an on-line questionnaire, and debates organized on the territory of implicated partners. Your ideas and your propositions will be carried and defended before the European Institutions during a large Euro-Mediterranean Forum, foreseen for October 2010.
So that culture can have a real place in the Europe of tomorrow, come and join us for this debate. Please take a moment and reply to this questionnaire.
This meeting will take place at the Maison pour Tous - Salle des Rancy (249 rue Vendôme, Lyon 3rd arrondissement, Métro Saxe-Gambetta).
