Building upon our five previous annual conferences, the Inaugural Creative City Summit is an exciting new development for the Creative City Network of Canada. It will encompass two days of facilitated professional development for Practitioners in the Arts and Cultural field. Dialogue sessions will be held on the topics of Community Engagement, Special Events, the Arts and Economic Development, Intercultural Communications, Cultural Infrastructure and Public Art.

Each session will include a short presentation from an invited "Inspirer" and delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a facilitated group discussion. The Summit has been designed to allow attendees to ask questions, share experiences and network with fellow practitioners. Updates on speakers and detailed session descriptions will be posted in the coming weeks, so check back often.

Early registration is now open and runs until August 15, 2008.
