The symposium will present the current international status of Cultural and Creative Industries from different research angles. Internationally renowned experts and national scientists will have the opportunity to engage in an intense professional exchange.

In four panels, speakers from diverse institutional contexts will discuss current tendencies and the development of the Cultural and Creative Industries. Speakers will include: 

•       Dimiter Gantchev, Director "Creative Industries Division“, WIPO (Geneva), 

•       Anthony Krause of "Section of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions”, UNESCO (Paris) 

•       Xiang Hardy Yong, Professor of "Institute for Cultural Industries“, Peking University (Beijing). 

The symposium is organised by the Michael Soendermann/Office for Culture Industries Research in cooperation with the Federal Government’s Centre of Excellence for the Cultural and Creative Industries and the International Association of Cultural and Creative Industries (IACCI).

We will provide simultaneous translation (german-english).
