"Cross-cultural and cross-national approaches to cultural policy research"

This year's Young Cultural Policy Researchers (YCPR) Forum, the third in a series, takes place in Barcelona on 21 and 22 October in the context of the 17th ENCATC Annual Conference and the Cultural Policy Research Award (CPRA) Ceremony. The Forum 2009 is organised by ENCATC in partnership with the University of Barcelona and with the support of the European Cultural Foundation, and focuses on “Cross-cultural and cross-national approaches to cultural policy research”.

The YCPR Forum was initiated in 2006 to stimulate networking between young cultural policy researchers with European competencies. It is of particular interest to young researchers, because it provides them with the opportunity to meet and share experience with fellow researchers from different countries, to discuss topics of common interest, and to possibly find partners in the context of their research, as well as publishers.

A contribution of maximum 500 euro towards travel and accommodation costs will be granted to some young researchers. Applicants for these grants should complete and send the application form before September 1st.

Students who have already applied for the CPR Award do not need to apply separately for the YPCR Forum Grant by completing the form. They just have to email their interest for the YPCR Forum Grant for the attention of Claudia Ritter De Decker: communications@encatc.org.
