International Seminar and Workshop on Urban Culture Organized by the Department of Architecture, School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development, Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), the international seminar and workshop on urban culture entitled Arte-Polis: Creative Culture and the Making of Place, to be held in Bandung, Indonesia on 21 - 23 July 2006, aims to bring together scholars, community groups, decision-makers and professionals from all disciplines concerned with the quality of life in cities (architecture, arts, cultural/development studies, design, economics, geography, planning etc) to share international knowledge and experiences regarding current issues, best practices and policy implications of the relationship between creative culture and place-making.
