Arts Activated Conference 2007

The Arts Activated Conference 2007 is the first of its kind to be held in NSW and is being organised by Accessible Arts, the peak arts and disability organisation across New South Wales in partnership with The Spastic Centre. The conference will provide leading examples of inclusion of people with disabilities in the arts with a focus on innovation, credibility and connectedness. We hope to receive proposals on a broad range of topics highlighting leading examples of inclusion of people with disabilities in the Arts in the following themes. - Techniques and strategies to facilitate and enhance the quality of creative programs - Creative projects and programs as a means of facilitating social integration and inclusion. - The path to emerging and professional arts practice for artists with a disability. - Enabling participation in the arts through audience development programs.
