It is no accident that the International Society of the Performing Arts (ISPA) has chosen the festival town of Lucerne as the site of its next international convention. The theme of this convention is ART.SPACE; the close and essential blending and bonding of art and space will be studied and discussed at the inauguration lecture held by Gerard Mortier as well as five round-table discussions with prominent figures from the world of art, architecture and management. There will be sufficient time to discover Lucerne as a town of culture and its truly fantastic surroundings.
