Several organizations and networks from Asia are joining IETM (Informal European Theatre Meetings) in the organization of the colloquium: Critically speaking: performing arts in Asia and Europe. The colloquium is conceived as a platform for exchange and critical examination of issues surrounding contemporary performing arts in Asia &Europe set up in the form of dialogues between artists, art operators and art critics from Asia & Europe. Different models of festivals, co-production and commissioning are also on the agenda, as well as a discussion on sources of information on cultural cooperation between Asia and Europe.
