Atlantic Cultural Space Conference: The Creative Municipality 2005

From 30th September to 2nd October 2005, the ACS conference will bring together Atlantic Canada's leading artists and policy-makers to beautiful downtown Saint John, New Brunswick. The conference, hosted by the New Brunswick Arts Board, will be held at the Trade and Convention Centre. Plan to attend this important two and a half day conference, where leading artists and policy-makers from Atlantic Canadian communities convene to explore how artists and their municipalities can work together to help build identity, develop public policy, and grow the economy. Topics of the conference will include arts funding, cultural facilities and programming, the role of tourism, film, music and new media, and advice on finding international markets for local art. Take part in Panels, Seminars, Exhibits and two dazzling high-end entertainment evening events, including "Gala Galore!" dinner and Atlantic Canada's Fine Art Market.
