Call for Papers: Interested scholars and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts of 300 words for 20-minute papers responding to the following themes:

1. Reflections on Arts and Health

2. Practice as Research: The Arts Health Perspective

3. Medical Humanities and Ethics

4. Art and Critical Thinking in the Community

Associate Professor Graeme Sullivan from Columbia University is a keynote speaker and other keynote speakers will be announced soon. In response to Reflections on Arts and Health, the Steering Committee especially welcomes proposals that address 'Revealing the Body' and 'Healing Arts'

300 word abstracts for a 20 minute paper with a 200 word biography should be forwarded to: Catherine Oddie catherine.oddie@newcastle.edu.au no later than Friday 30 May 2008.

Accepted papers will be blind peer-reviewed and published in the second edition of the ArtsHealth e-journal in 2009
