Teaching and Learning Cultural Entrepreneurship: A global comparative analysis of course and program content in university - and community-based education for the cultural and creative industries.
This volume will be compiled by an editorial team comprised of Prof. Dr. Olaf Kuhlke (College of Liberal Arts, University of Minnesota Duluth), Prof. Dr. Annick Schramme (Antwerp Management School, University of Antwerp, and current President of ENCACT) and Drs. Rene Kooyman (Ars Nova, Utrecht, The Netherlands). Contributions to the book will be presented as part of the 1st International Research Conference on the Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship Training and Education, to be held from June 10 - 12, 2015 at the University of Minnesota, Duluth USA.
The book will concentrate on a number of current discussions. We are inviting contributions (of up to 4000 words) that address at least two of the five thematic areas: Curriculum Design, Theoretical roots and approaches, Labour market developments and job opportunities, Practitioners critique, Innovative and Traditional Entrepreneurship Programs.
This unique publication invites contributions from the global research community, studying cultural entrepreneurship and the evolution of education and training for the creative industries. It will comprise academic articles that address theory, research and practical issues related to current developments within the field of education in Cultural Entrepreneurship. In addition, we are inviting short reflections (up to 1000 words) from both undergraduate as well as graduate students that are currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last 5 years) from arts management and cultural/creative entrepreneurship programs.
