Casa de las Américas (House of the Americas) summons the 11th edition of the Musicology Award. Latin American and Caribbean authors can participate with books which contribute with an all-out understanding of the Latin American and Caribbean culture from the different concepts and procedures of the present Social Sciences. On occasion of this 11th edition it is also summoned the 5th International Colloquium of Music. Participation is open to musicologists, professors and other specialists interested in deepening the scientific knowledge, the preservation and development of musical culture in Latin America and the Caribbean.
