The American Music Center (AMC) has launched a new Professional Development Program entitled 'Insights: Conversations with Composers'. Curated and hosted by composer/performer Joan La Barbara, the inaugural season will feature a series of informal sessions with leading composers of contemporary opera. Upcoming sessions will feature composers John Harbison, Meredith Monk and Robert Ashley.
