Cultural policies are one of the basic and fundamental policy instruments for the cultural development of every country. Its administration has gained an increasingly relevant role in a globalized world.
To know how they are designed, which are their priorities and which are the institutional, of public administration, legal and legislative, and financial and tax related strategies and instruments that the main organizations and institutions use when they are being created is of great importance to those who dwell in the field of cultural administration.
All this, within the frame of reference of American and European countries’ main trends and experiences.
This course intends to provide a wide perspective on the different guidelines of contemporary cultural policies in those matters, confronting various models and specific situations, in order to deepen and update their compared analysis and comprehension.
