This one-day discussion will compare cultural policies in Europe and the United States, and will focus on some critical moments in the past 60 years and how differently they intersected with cultural policies. Curated by Corina Suteu, European cultural policies expert and Director of the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, and Professor Joan Jeffri, Director of the Program in Arts Administration at Teachers College, Columbia University.
