The next Euro-American Campus on Cultural Cooperation will take place this year from 30 November to 3 December, in Gran Canaria. This will be the seventh edition of this initiative which Interarts, in collaboration with the Organization of Iberoamerican States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and other bodies, has been carrying out since 2000. The Campus is aimed at creating a space for exchange and discussion for cultural agents and cultural networks interested in international cooperation. The general theme of the Campus in Gran Canaria is “Culture and local development”, and for the first time it will involve participants from diverse African countries. The Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID) and the Government of Canarias are also among the organisers.
