During the Annual Congress the General Assembly, Council and Board meetings will take place to push forward Europa Nostra’s goals as the voice of cultural heritage in Europe. The forum will be dedicated to the role of volunteers in the field of cultural heritage, as a contribution to The European Year of Volunteering 2011.
The European Heritage Awards Ceremony will take place at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw on 10 June 2011. All other venues will be important historical and heritage landmarks.
Accompanying tours will also be organised in the newly appointed World Heritage Site Amsterdam’s Ring of Canals and its surroundings.
