Co-hosted by Educult,
26 February 2009 – 01 March 2009, Germany

From 26 February to 1 March 2009, 500 guests from all over Europe will meet in Dresden/Germany for the European Congress for a World Culture Forum. The topic of the 2009 congress is “Culture is more – developments in world cultural heritage reflected by European Cities”. Conference sites in Dresden will be the Transparent Volkswagen Factory, the German Hygiene Museum and the Frauenchurch.

The congress wants to show examples of European cities that reflect the large spectrum of culture, both in a historical perspective and in regard of the future.

The congress is targeted at economic leaders, cultural institutions, artists, scientists, politicians and media representatives and invites also the broader public to join in an intra-cultural dialogue.

The first World Culture Forum is planned for 2010/11.
