ExTEND "Music Bridges" A European Conference on Youth Empowerment and Music. Where: Barcelona, Spain When: 4-6 June, 2004 How can music positively affect the lives of young people in a Europe that is constantly growing and bringing together diversified cultures? This is the main issue that will be addressed at the ExTEND 2004 conference: "ExTEND Music Bridges". organised to enable youth and music operators in Europe to come together and discuss burning issues in these fields. The conference is the first in a series of networking possibilities under the umbrella of ExTEND 2004 – the Experimental Transnational European Network Development - launched by Jeunesses Musicales International to strengthen the youth and music network in Europe and create a pan-European platform for knowledge and practice exchange.
