The 2004 IFEA European Conference Festivals and Communities: Realising Potential provides a unique opportunity for local community representatives, festival organisers and policy makers to come together to learn from the experiences of others and to develop new ideas and productive networks. A feature of this conference is to bring together experience, best practice and innovations from festival practitioners, policy makers and expert commentators involved with festivals and community development from across Europe.
